Best experience I ever had. I did 8 years there. Got to travel all over the world. Earn the Presidential Service Badger, Special Duty Pay. Just fill out the paperwork and do it.

Any idea how the op-tempo was for 35 series? Travel, etc?

SFC (Join to see) being that you are a 35 series and in Intelligence your chances of travel are very high. But like MSG (Join to see) their are lots of variables.

How long did it take for you to get notified that you received the position. I applied in March Posted >1 y ago

So let me say, it has been a great treat to be assigned to WHCA. I am 4 months and nine days from leaving this assignment and ETSing. I have a few things to say if you are looking for a place to leave the military WHCA is a great spot. You get out of the regular Army life. No, formations, PT is on your own, travel missions, etc.. But it is very hard on married families. My four years I have been there I have traveled to 28 countries. It is not easy on the family being always gone and leaving on a moment's notice. I can't count how many times I have had to leave within a 24 hour period. Pack my bags and I am gone. It does wear on you, but if you are up for a challenge it is a great place to get assigned to.
